Villa Thalassa

Villa Thalassa is a luxurious villa overlooking the bay of Akrotiri-Chania. Designed by one who loves the sea, three of the four master bedrooms, and both living rooms, offer guests breathtaking panoramic views out over the turquoise bay. The villa can comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests in four double bedrooms and two comfortable sofa beds. This stunning, upscale property was designed with only three things in mind: luxury, privacy and enjoying its unique location. It is one of the very few villas of the region to have a "front row" view of the sea and private access down. The owners made no compromises when it came to quality of construction, interior design, and furnishings. This exclusive villa is clearly the ideal retreat for a demanding clientele, as it has primarily been designed as the lifetime dream of its owner, and not as a rental. Have a drink on one of the terraces, dive into the warm water of the infinity pool or simply relax on the 'dream area' situated halfway down to the sea and furnished with a twin designer sun bed. If you prefer the fresh sea to the cozy pool, take the rocky pathway to the sea and enjoy a salty swim in complete privacy. A stay at Villa Thalassa will be an experience to treasure forever!

The main entrance into the villa leads to the upper floor. This level offers three master bedrooms, one with a walk-in wardrobe and a bathtub in the center of the room, and the other two with ensuite bathrooms with showers. There is also living area furnished with two sofa beds that can convert into a bedroom by sliding doors. All bedrooms have access to balconies leading to steps down to the pool area.

On the lower floor is a minimalistic and modernly decorated living room, an open-plan, fully equipped kitchen (stove, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, Nespresso machine, coffee maker, dishwasher) and a dining area, all offering amazing sea views. A fourth double bedroom with ensuite shower, a guest WC and, a store room with washing machine can also be found on this lower level. From here guests have direct access to the swimming pool and terraces. A lawn at the backside of the house allows guests to rest in the shade.

Included in the rental price: Private parking area for three cars (with electric gate), Wi-Fi, Welcome basket, safe deposit box, 50 pads/week for Nespresso machine, local taxes, final cleaning, mid-week towel/linen change

The area of Akrotiri offers lovely sandy beaches, traditional local taverns, and picturesque sights. It is largely unspoiled by tourism, ensuring a quiet retreat for your stay. If you are searching to live the laid back Cretan life, you will find several traditional local tavernas within a few minutes' drive, where you can enjoy the healthy and tasty local Cretan cuisine.
Visitors will of course find several exclusive sandy beaches in the direct neighborhood (among which is Stavros, famously known from the movie “Zorba The Greek”), or you can take a trip to the rocky mountainside to visit the Moni Kirias monastery and the small and intimate creek of Pelagos.

Pool heating is 300 Euros per week from June - October. Outside of these months, pool heating is included.
