This exclusive villa, with private swimming pool and breathtaking views over the countryside, is just a few kilometers from Trapani, an elegant and refined town renowned for its beautiful historic center with cafés, restaurants, boutiques, and lively bars. The villa resides among lush gardens with olive and lemon trees, and exotic Mediterranean plants. Large terraces provide inspiring views from Erice to the salt pans and across the sea to the Egadi islands. Restored according to its traditional roots, the property evokes the aristocratic elegance of old Sicily. The light-infused and refined interior (with all modern conveniences) is furnished with antiques and stylishly decorated to create a warm, cozy atmosphere. The outdoor grounds include a large pool (open from April 1 to October 31), an outdoor shower, a dining area with table, chairs, and barbecue, a garden, and plenty of places to relax and read.

On the ground floor the living area includes a spacious living room, a study, a dining room, a well-equipped kitchen (stove, three ovens, fridge/freezer, toaster, microwave, dishwasher), and a bathroom. The first floor contains four bedrooms; three double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms with bathtub, and a single room with separate bathroom. From this level, a staircase leads up from the small sitting room to another bedroom with a French bed.

Villa Trapani is ideal for families or groups of friends in search of a relaxing holiday but who also seek opportunities to explore the charms of the area. The towns of Erice, Marsala and Trapani (with ferries for the Egadi islands) are a short drive away, as are the island of Mozia, the ancient salt pans with their characteristic windmills, the beaches of Marsala and San Vito Lo Capo, the Zingaro and the Stagnone nature reserves, and the temples of Segesta and Selinunte.

In the last few years Trapani, the pride of Sicily's west coast, has been restored to its original architectural splendor. A stop here in one of the many cafés and restaurants is a must after admiring the splendid palaces of Cavaretta, Riccio di Morana, and Lucatelli, and walking along the sea by the beautiful promenade on the Mura di Tramontana.
