A fine Tuscan house with 8 bedrooms that sleeps 15 people, situated at the heart of an outstanding 16th-century estate. This villa is set in a beautiful, floodlit park on the edge of a lush, wooded hill and surrounded by orchards and olive groves. At the front of the villa is a vast lawn and spacious swimming pool (18m X 8m), surrounded by comfortable sun chairs and umbrellas. On both sides of the building are original patios in Tuscan stone where wrought-iron tables and chairs with cream umbrellas provide an elegant setting for an al fresco lunch or early evening aperitif. The house itself has recently been restored to the highest standards while retaining its traditional Tuscan character. Beautiful terracotta tiled floors and exposed beams adorn every room, and several of the downstairs living rooms have frescoed walls. The villa offers the best of modern comforts and conveniences in an elegant yet rustic setting. Nearby are several cities that you may choose to explore on convenient day trips: Lucca-4 miles, Pisa-12 miles, Firenze-31 miles, and Siena-50 miles. There are also the beaches in Viareggio (Forte dei Marmi)- 12 miles or the Cinque Terre-37 miles. A hospital is nearby-2.5 miles, a tennis club-1.5 miles, and a golf course-18 miles.

The main floor of the villa has a large lounge or drawing room, a TV room, a fully equipped kitchen, formal dining room, two guest bathrooms, a large staircase to the first and second floor, an indoor garden, and a beautiful internal conservatory where breakfast may be enjoyed. The first floor has 5 of the eight bedrooms and the guest office with fax and computer facilities. All bedrooms have full bathrooms en suite. The first four bedrooms on the first floor have Queen beds and the fifth room has the single bed. On the second floor are the last three bedrooms all with Queen beds and full bathrooms en suite. There is air conditioning and heating throughout, indoor and outdoor wireless internet access, floodlit swimming pool.

Daily Chef service for preparation of breakfast and one meal (lunch or dinner) 6 days a week (Wednesday day off).

Daily maid service, 3 hours in the morning, 6 days a week (Sunday day off).
