Art lovers will enjoy this two bedroom apartment located just a 10 minute walk from the Academy of Fine Arts. The Academy houses one of the finest art collections in Italy, reviewing Venetian painting from the 14th century to the 18th century. St. Mark's square is also a short walk away. Take a tour along the Grand Canal in a steamer starting from St. Mark's Square to see the canal at its best.
One bedroom has a queen bed and an adjacent bath with shower. The second bedroom has two twin beds and an ensuite bath with tub.
This second floor apartment is refined and elegant. The building dates from the 16th century and has been lovingly restored. The combined sitting room and dining room has a comfortable sofa and chairs as well as other antique furnishings. The kitchen has a stove, oven, refrigerator and dishwasher. There is also a clothes washer in the apartment.The owner recently put at disposal of all clients of the Palazzo a computer with high speed internet access available 24 hours / day at no charge. She will also give you a cellular phone to use while in Venice. NO ELEVATOR.

ReviewsJK, UKWe stayed in apartments 4 & 5 on the mezzanine level with our 5 grown children. There was plenty of room for everyone and the apartments were charming, clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The location was perfect – just enough off the beaten path that there were few tourists, yet close to shops, restaurants and vaporetto stops.
The Contessa was a charming and helpful hostess. She was very helpful both before and during the trip providing details and information regarding transportation, schedules, amenities etc. – She even went so far as to book the 4:30 am watertaxi for our departure and then waited with us until we were safely onboard and headed for the airport.
If you are looking for a great holiday rental I would highly recommend this property.
