La Napouline

The villa is located on a hilltop in lovely La Napoule, in an exclusive residential area. It overlooks the Mediterranean, with breathtaking views of the sea and harbor, and the picturesque Esterel Mountains to the west. It is 1 mile from the Royal Hotel and Casino, and 5 miles from Cannes. This old stone home will accommodate 6; not suitable for children under 6 due to many steps.

Upstairs are three bedrooms. The first bedroom has one double bed and a twin bed with a large outside terrace. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed. The third bedroom has two twin beds and a terrace. The terrace has a view of the rock formations at the other side of the valley (the caves are dramatically lit at night). There are two full baths upstairs, one with shower and the other with tub.

The living room measures over 500 square feet and has hand hewn ceiling beams from ancient castles. Two sets of sliding doors, opening onto the terrace, offer unobstructed views of the sea. The main seating area has leather sofas and satellite TV (with CNN and a satellite dish). The floors are handmade terracotta tiles. The separate dining area can seat 6. There are rod iron tables and chairs on the large terrace for outdoor dining. The kitchen has a dishwasher, oven, 2 burner electric and 2 burner gas cooktop, and 3/4 refrigerator. A separate laundry room has a washing machine and dryer. A half bath is off the main entrance.
