Chalet Altiport

Chalet Altiport is located at the heart of the spectacular site of Les Grandes Rousses Mountains, the large ski area of l’Alpe d’Huez, at an altitude of 1800 meters. It is located directly on the slopes, in an exclusive development of chalets, a short distance from resort center.
The chalet was constructed in pure Alpine tradition from larch wood and dry stones. The contemporary note shows through wide openings, as well as high ceilings and large open spaces. Interior decorating is a subtle blend of rough and soft textures. Lighting was designed to create a warm and cozy atmosphere.
The very spacious open plan lounge gives access onto the vast terrace facing south towards Les Ecrins. Chalet Altiport also offers ample spa facilities with a luxurious indoor hot tub, a walk-in shower and a new steam room, everything to relax in a healthy mountain environment.


Originally designed as a large family chalet, Chalet Altiport revolves around the very spacious lounge that opens onto the mezzanine. The south-facing terrace is the ideal place for relaxing or having a drink under l’Alpe d’Huez's famous sunshine. The garden was planted with carefully chosen Alpine species and high altitude pine trees.
There are five luxury bedrooms all stylishly decorated, four of which have access onto balconies with stunning views over the mountains. The master bedroom has en suite facilities. Two rooms (one double, one twin) adjoin the same shower room, making them ideal for a family. An additional twin room has a shower room adjacent to it. The vast Alpine dormitory, with four single beds and an additional bathroom, is the ideal place for children.


Guests will enjoy the Hammam (steam room) after a good day of fun on the slopes. Recently tiled with beautiful mosiacs, it is sure to be a high light of your vacation!
