Bastide Charme

Bastide Charme is just what the name inplies. If you love Provence with its fields of lavender, olive trees and endless blue skies, Bastide Charme will be the cherry on the top of the cake. Ideally located between the charming villages of Lourmarin and Cucuron, this 36 acres estate covered with olive trees, vineyards, cypresses, fig trees and pine trees offers stunning views of the Luberon countryside. The owners, who are passionate about architecture and the "arts de vivre" have restored the bastide with simplicity and elegance in mind. Much attention has been given to space, light and the use of only pure, natural materials like stone, concrete, wood and limestone. All this is mixed with natural linens and the colors on the walls.
Bastide Charme can accommodate 12 adults or children and one infant.

You will enter Bastide Charme through an elegant wood door which leads to an interior courtyard. Here you will find a covered galleria which offers protection from the elements. A door leads directly into the fully equipped kitchen. This makes for the perfect area to enjoy dinners al fresco. From the kitchen there is direct access to the dining room and the living room which is elegantly furnished with comfortable white sofas, stylish tables and minimalist decor. You will find everything you need to have an enjoyable stay. The dining room table can easily accommodate a large group inside if needed.

A flight of stairs takes you to the second floor where there are 3 bedrooms. The large master bedroom is adorned with high beamed ceiling and has a queen size bed. There is an alcove off of the main room for one young child.
On the same level there are two additional bedroom each with a single bed. All three bedrooms share a full bathroom with shower. This floor would be perfect for a family with 2 or 3 children.

On the garden level, opening onto the olive grove and with views of the Luberon, there is an en-suite bedroom with queen size be. The full bathroom has tube 2 wash basins and WC.

Near the living room is yet another en-suite bedroom with queen size bed and full bathroom with shower.

During the months of June through September, it is possible to rent the Chapel and the Pigeonier which are in the garden. Each of these has a queen size bed and full bathroom. The Pigeonier is currently being renovated and photos will be ready soon.

The garden offers various areas to sit and relax and enjoy the beauty of the Luberon. This along with the pool area is sure to make your stay perfect!

Concierge service is included in the rental. If chef service is required, this can also be accommodated for an additional charge. Bastide Charme has an excellent floor heating system so it is a great choice any time of the year! Heating is extra during the winter months but wood is provided for the fireplace.
