Villa Ambelas

Perched on a hill overlooking the picturesque fishing village of Naoussa, Villa Ambelas affords visitors fantastic views over the valley and the sea beyond. Lively Santa Maria beach is within four km, while the more secluded Molos Beach is just one km further. The home is totally independent and is enhanced by its natural island surroundings. The gardens around the villa grow organic vegetables and fruits, which are available for guest consumption. The villa has marble floors, wooden ceilings, and all windows and doors have screens. The building is built with a bioclimatic technique that lets the air flow constantly and keeps cool temperature even during the hottest days in the summer.


Villa Ambelas is comprised of three floors. The lower level can be accessed through interior stairs from the ground floor or from the lower floor courtyard entrance in the front. The lower floor courtyard has a marble dining table under a pergola, a built-in BBQ, an outdoor Jacuzzi for six guests and a couple of sun beds to enjoy the sun. From the main entrance of this floor you enter on an open-plan sitting area with a dining corner with seating for six. The living area is equipped with flat screen TV and DVD/CD player. Attached to the living area is a fully equipped kitchen (fridge/freezer, oven, stove, dishwasher, coffee maker). From the living area a door leads to a double bedroom with queen-size bed, a dresser with mirror and a large closet for your clothes. A patio door offers access to the terrace. Another door leads to a second bedroom with queen-size bed, a dresser with mirror and a closet. This bedroom is attached to a separate office corner with PC and a small library. Internal stairs with a door connect you with the upper floor corridor and bathroom. A third door leads to a smaller bedroom with double bed. This bedroom has no window and is intended as an extra bedroom in case you have additional guests. All three bedrooms share a full bathroom with shower.

The ground floor has two entrances. The main entrance is accessed directly from the pergola-covered parking area. A second entrance is from the terrace in front of the house. This terrace is equipped with a dining table, chairs, and a couple of comfortable lounge chairs. Both entrances lead into an open-plan space with a dining area with seating for six, a second fully equipped kitchen, and a comfortable sitting area with a large window overlooking Santa Maria Bay and the beautiful rural landscape. The sitting area is equipped with flat screen TV and a DVD/CD player. A hallway connects this area with a full bathroom with bathtub and a double bedroom with queen-size bed, a closet, and a patio door that exits to a balcony with unrestricted views. From the hallway stairs lead you up to the master bedroom with double bed, a closet, an ensuite bathroom with shower, a ceiling fan and a large, private terrace with panoramic views.
