Villa Magris

Villa Magris is a charming villa located in one of the most beautiful and panoramic areas along the Amalfi Coast. It is conveniently located between the two historical towns of Amalfi and Ravello, in a private and exclusive position, making it a great starting point for easy day trips to all the tourist points of interest (Amalfi Coast and Sorrento Coast as well as Naples, Vesuvius, Pompeii, Herculaneum, Paestum, and the islands of Capri and Ischia).
The pool (open from April 1 - October 30) is situated on the upper floor of the villa and the five different levels of large terraces and gardens face the sun and the sea. Every angle of the residence allows you to admire the Lattari mountains, verdant with lemon trees, the picturesque inlet of the coast, visible up to Capo D'Orso, and last but not least, the wide and splendid view of the Mediterranean sea. The terraces are decorated with jars filled with flowers, some of which are sun-drenched and others shaded by pergolas, trees or awnings. The interiors are luminous, welcoming, and tastefully and elegantly furnished in a bright Mediterranean style .

The pool area offers two outdoor showers, deck chairs, shaded dining area with table and charcoal barbecue, and an angle furnished as a barbeque area. There is a private parking area for three cars accessed by a remote controlled gate.

Included in the price: English speaking manager on call, weekly cleaning service (3 hours per day Monday until Saturday), twice a week change of linen, heating, air conditioning, electricity

Villa Magris consist of two floors and approx. 1000 sqm of indoor and outdoor living space. 19 steps lead up to the main floor of the villa. Entrance is into a roomy and airy living room, elegantly furnished with large sofas and couches placed around an open marble fireplace, and decorated with lots of precious lamps, paintings and ceramic vases. A crystal dining table with elegant wood chairs seats six.
The living area also features two French windows with coordinating curtains opening onto a panoramic terrace with spectacular views. This terrace is equipped with wrought iron table with ceramic top (seating six) and wrought iron chairs. Another French window opens onto a lateral terrace also with sea views.
The kitchen can be reached from the living room but also from the terrace, making it easy and pleasant to organize outdoor meals. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dining table (seating for eight), a gas stove, dishwasher, microwave, electric oven, fridge, freezer and door leading out to the terrace. You will find this terrace perfect for outdoor meals in front of a breathtaking seascape. In addition, there is also a laundry room available (washing machine and ironing facilities) and a guest bathroom with modern glass shower cubicle, washbasin, WC, and hairdryer.
A hallway behind the living room leads to a spacious bedroom featuring a queen bed and a twin bed, with en-suite bathroom (shower, washbasin, WC, hairdryer) and two French windows opening to terraces with sea views.

The upper level is reached through the indoor staircase (20 steps) and offers two double bedroom (queen beds) and one bedroom with two twin beds. The largest double bedroom has en-suite bathroom (bathtub/shower, washbasin, WC, hairdryer) and the other two bedrooms share a bathroom (shower, washbasin, WC) located in the hall. Each bedroom has its own TV, a control to regulate the air conditioning and French windows opening onto terraces with sea views.

From the ground level, an external stairway of 45 steps takes you to a spacious terrace with terracotta floor, decorated with large terracotta pots overflowing with geraniums. A further stairway of 21 steps leads to the upper level with a huge terrace and pool, providing the guest with spectacular views of the coast and the sea, and comfortable and furnished outdoor spaces.

Villa Magris is centrally located: Amalfi 2.5 km, Ravello 5 Km, Sorrento 40 Km, Salerno 25 Km, Positano 25 Km, Naples airport 60 Km, Rome Fiumicino 320 Km. The nearest beach is Castiglione di Ravello, 1.5 km away. This is a picturesque half-moon shaped beach, nestled in a little bay surrounded by a high stretch of coast. In order to visit the beach you have to descend from the road, a public stairway consisting of approx. 180 stone steps. During the summer months there is a bar available and umbrellas and sun lounges for rent. Other beaches that can be reached more comfortably, by car or by bus, are the beach of Atrani (1 km), Amalfi (2.5 km), Minori (5 km) and Maiori (6 km). The nearest supermarket ''DESPAR'' is situated on the main road going towards Ravello at about 2.5 km away. Nearest restaurants, bars, shops, banks, and post office are in Atrani, Amalfi or in Ravello town center. At approx. 200 meters away, there is the bus stop marked SITA to Amalfi (10 min) and Ravello (10 min), you have to buy the ticket in advance in a tobacco shop. At the port of Amalfi, ferries and hydrofoils ply daily to Capri (1½ h.), Positano (20 min.), Ischia (2½ h) and Salerno (1 h.). The services operate only during the summer months.
