Conveniently located close to the coastal road and near the center of Positano, Villa Giovanni is a wonderful villa from which to explore the Amalfi Coast. With it's 2 parking spaces, and advantageous location, you can explore the Coast by car, by ferry or bus. With a pool, A/C, Wi-Fi, satellite TV and piano, up to 14 guests can enjoy a relaxing stay at this property.

The main villa hosts the large living room of over 100 square meters, with a sea-looking terrace, which is furnished with large sofas, fireplace, solid wood table for 12 people, chess-board and piano. The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher; the bathroom has a shower. A marble staircase leads to the second level, where there are three bedrooms, two of which with direct access onto the more than 60 square meters terrace with amazing view, equipped with a wrought iron table Vietri ceramics-tiled, capable of hosting 12 sits, other than comfortable sofas. On the same floor there is a kitchenette with original quality tiles manufactured in Positano, and two bathrooms, one with tub nestled in the rock and the other with shower.

The second part is a 60 square meters penthouse overlooking Positano from its huge terrace with Sun beds, Sun umbrellas, outside showers, rocking chair, wrought iron table Vietri ceramics-tiled and barbacue. The living room, furnished with solid wood furniture, has a kitchenette, covered with red bricks and ceramics and a comfortable sofa; the bedroom has a bathroom with shower.

The third part is a spacious and luminous living room of more than 50 square meters, hosting a direct view on "Li Galli", the island where the mythological Sirens bewitched Ulysses, and, in more recent times, chosen by Nureyev as its stage. The kitchenette and a fireplace for romantic winter evenings complete the salon environment. There are two double rooms: the first one has a private bathroom with Jacuzzi, while the other one, with a sea-looking terrace, has a next door-bathroom with shower.

180 degree views were amazing. THe owner Giovanni welcomed us like family. We enjoyed the 20 minute scenic walk around to Positano although by the 5th day were glad of the occasional lift or bus ride into town. Having the bus at the door meant that without a car we could travel easily north & south to other towns on the Amalfi Coast.

When we arrived at the Villa, they were waiting for us and helped us move the bags. The gentleman went over all the facilities in great detail. He plucked some fresh oranges from his garden. The views from the villa are breathtaking. Our visit was very enjoyable.

Spectacular location, wonderful place, great view and parking below (very little accommodation in Positano has parking.) Very helpful owner. We have travelled a lot all over the world and this was one of the best properties we stayed at.
