This splendid villa offers a private swimming pool in a peaceful, sunny position near Syracuse, one of the Mediterranean�s most beautiful ancient Greek towns. Blending perfectly into the surrounding agricultural countryside, Villa Isola looks out over a well-kept lawn and garden with a swimming pool and furnished terraces ideal for life outdoors. The welcoming interior, with all modern conveniences, has been tastefully decorated with particular attention to the materials and finishes. There is the main villa with a detached annex.

The interior is furnished in an eclectic mix of styles. The main villa includes a refined living room with bio-fireplace and piano, a billiard room, a fitted kitchen, three double bedrooms with en-suite bathroom, and a bathroom.

The annex has an entrance and a double bedroom with shower/bathroom and a second bedroom with two twin bed or double with a shower/bathroom.

Each room comes with air conditioning and opens onto the terrace.
Ideal for large families or groups of friends, this villa is the perfect choice for those looking for a relaxing holiday with space, luxury, and comfort. In addition, the property offers a base from which to explore the charms of the local area: the beautiful beaches of Fontane Bianche and Calamosche, the evocative baroque towns of Syracuse, Noto, Modica, Scicli and Ragusa Ibla, the charming fishing villages of Marzamemi and Portopalo, the nature reserves of Pantalica and Vendacari, the park of Mount Etna, and the lively Catania and worldly Taormina.

Villa Isola is approx. 2700 sq. feet and consists of one level. The spacious living room features three sofas (one of which is a double sofa bed), a flat screen TV, a piano, fireplace, and many interesting art pieces. The large kitchen is a chef's dream and is fully-equipped with two fridges, freezer, gas stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee machine, and a breakfast bar. There is a large game room featuring a pool table. The five comfortable bedrooms are nicely furnished with two offering ensuite bathrooms. The annex offers guests a living area, kitchenette and double bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Outside is a cozy solarium furnished with sofas, tables, chairs, a barbecue and a TV. Out near the pool area is another fully furnished terrace with sun chairs and umbrellas. The swimming pool is open from the beginning of April until the end of October.

As of 2018 there is a new an external fitness area. This is a covered veranda with a tread mill, an exercise bike, an exercise bench and an elliptical.

Syracuse is considered one of the most beautiful cities of the Mediterranean Sea. Rich in history and monuments, it is situated right on the coast facing the sea. The ancient, small town of Greek origin was founded by the Corinthians in 734 B.C. and in the course of the years underwent several rules: Romans, Byzantines, Arabs, Normans� An earthquake destroyed the city in 1693 and Syracuse was rebuilt in a baroque style that exists today. There are numerous monuments worth visiting, including the Duomo (Cathedral), the Fonte Aretusa (Fount of Aretusa), the Castello Maniace (Castle of the Maniace family), the Teatro Greco (Greek Theatre), the Orecchio di Dioniso (Ear of Dionysus� cave), and the Castello Eurialo (Castle of Eurialo). Cultural events take place all year long but the classical plays of the Greek tragedies � staged in the ancient theater of Syracuse during the months of May and June � have international fame.
