Villa Ballata is a typical country house with a small swimming pool situated in Tangi, in the vicinity of Erice, one of the most charming medieval villages in the whole of Sicily. Its great location enables guests to easily launch interesting excursions in an area full of beautiful landscapes, important archaeological sites, and stunning towns. The salt pans of Trapani, the Egadi Islands, the temple of Segesta and the small island of Mozia, Scopello, the Zingaro natural reserve, and the wonderful beach of San Vito Lo Capo are just few kilometers away. The home has been recently restored and provides a perfect refuge for those who wish to experience a restful holiday, in a quiet but not secluded place, where the delights and the scents of the Sicilian countryside can be enjoyed. The interiors are tastefully decorated with pastel colors and matching curtains and fabrics, and the furniture has been carefully chosen to complement the style of the house. Outside, guests can enjoy the spacious terrace, equipped with garden furniture and barbecue, and a small, private plunge pool - the right place to find relief from the Sicilian sun.

This delightful villa is situated on one floor and consists of a large, colorful living area with sofa, chairs, Satellite TV, DVD/CD player and an alcove with two single beds. The kitchen is nicely equipped with a fridge/freezer, gas stove, oven, toaster, and coffee maker. The double bedroom glows in soft, pink hues and has a pass-though bedroom with single bed leading to the bathroom with shower, sink and toilet.

Included in the rental price: Gas, water, electricity (up to 150 kwh/week), final cleaning, once weekly linen and towel change, weekly tidying up, parking, cot, high chair, welcome basket

The medieval town of Erice, situated on Mt. Erice and overlooking the city of Trapani and the Tyrrhenian coast of western Sicily, has been continuously occupied for over 2500 years. Those who have left their cultural footprints and architectural calling cards include the Phoenicians, Carthaginians and Romans. Later came the Arabs and the Normans. Today, visitors can visit the two remaining castles, Venus and Pepoli (now a hotel), and wander the cobblestone streets in search of the local specialty, couscous and fresh fish.
